Intelligent floor sensor system for smart homes
The special smart SensFloor® covering is a modular, discreet sensor system that can be installed under any type of flooring or floor covering. Invisible sensors are placed under the normal flooring, turning your entire floor into a giant touchpad.
The intelligent floor has the capacity to detect presence and movement of people without the need for pressure. The system consists of a sensor mat, a small receiver, and intelligent software that analyzes and displays sensor data.
Signals are sent wirelessly to a transceiver, which calculates the number of people on the floor, their direction and speed, as well as detects falls. Everyone who walks over it leaves traces, which SensFloor’s software analyzes, recognizes situations, and triggers related reactions.
The system, powered by AI, can learn daily patterns (such as routine procedures in a specific room) and report notable changes. No personal data is linked to the traces left—recorded information is anonymous and 100% compliant with data protection laws.
