On February 5, 2025, the InnovatEase team received an invitation from Schneider Electric, represented by Natalia Petrova, to attend a specialized training for system integrators of smart home solutions. The training focused on two of the company’s outstanding products – Wiser for KNX and spaceLYnk.
1. Wiser KNX
Wiser KNX is an intelligent building management system operating with the KNX protocol. It offers:
- Flexibility – integration of various KNX devices and systems
- Automation – management of lighting, heating, air conditioning, blinds, and other components
- Remote access – mobile application for monitoring and control from anywhere
- Energy efficiency – optimization of consumption through intelligent scenarios
- Compatibility – integration with IoT devices and voice assistants (Alexa, Google Assistant)
2. spaceLYnk
spaceLYnk is a powerful universal controller and gateway for building automation, offering:
- Integration – support for multiple communication protocols (KNX, Modbus, BACnet, MQTT)
- Logical functions – creation of complex automation and scenarios
- Visualization – web-based interface for monitoring and control
- IoT connectivity – ability to work with cloud services and API integrations
- Flexible application – suitable for both small and large buildings, industrial uses, and smart homes
Wiser KNX is best suited for smart homes and KNX-based installations, while spaceLYnk is a flexible and powerful solution for complex integrations in building automation.
The training was led by Eng. Dimitar Mankov, a Schneider Electric representative, who presented the exceptional advantages of working with the company’s products and solutions. Eng. Mankov is a system architect and application engineer in the “Building Automation” segment for Southeastern Europe at Schneider Electric. He began his career at the company in 2015, advancing through various roles, and currently oversees 14 countries in the region. As a professional, Eng. Mankov is actively involved in projects implementing intelligent building solutions that improve energy efficiency and sustainability. He noted that investments in building automation typically have a payback period of about two years thanks to energy consumption optimization and resource management.
Beyond his professional activities, Eng. Mankov is also a mentor and trainer. He participates in initiatives such as StroiAcademy, where he shares his expertise with young specialists and students, encouraging the development of the next generation of engineers in building automation.
The InnovatEase team expressed their sincere gratitude to Eng. Dimitar Mankov, whose expertise and commitment significantly contribute to the promotion and implementation of modern technologies in building automation, as well as to the training of future professionals in this field.
Also participating in the training from Schneider Electric was Antonia Bodurova, Marketing Communications Manager, who is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the Bulgarian market.
Own Development Environment for Integrators
The proprietary development environments (IDE) of Wiser KNX and spaceLYnk provide KNX integrators with full control and unlimited possibilities. This environment greatly expands integration options when working with smart systems. It offers an intuitive interface, powerful programming tools, and flexible configuration, making it easier to meet standards and implement the most complex automation projects.
